About the journal
Chinese Physics C (High Energy Physics and Nuclear Physics) is a science periodical focusing on specialized fields with its first issue published in 1977. It is sponsored by the Chinese Physical Society, and supported by the Institute of High Energy Physics and the Institute of Modern Physics, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and distributed monthly.
This journal publishes research papers written in English on theories, experiments and applications in Particle Physics, Nuclear Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology related to particles and nuclei, Detectors and Experimental Methods, Accelerators, Synchrotron Radiation and other related fields . It covers current achievements in these fields, especially obtained in China, and promotes the academic exchange with foreign physicists. It contains a special column called ``Rapid Communications'' carrying short reports on the latest important scientific results, published as fast as in 1 锝?/SPAN> 4 months. The breakthrough researches, especially those supported by State Projects and National Natural Science Foundation of China will have very high priority for publication. In general, accepted articles will be published within 5 锝?/SPAN> 9 months.
銆The journal editorial board is composed of nearly seventy distinguished physicists. They are responsible to invite and review the papers to be published, ensuring the scientific quality of the journal. There are also experienced professional editors to keep the high level production. The articles carried in this journal have been widely quoted in China, and quite a number of them have been selected for national awards and the prizes of provinces and
ministries. The journal has been one of the leading journals all along in high energy physics and nuclear physics in China.
銆This journal has been indexed by all the authoritative indexing systems in China and many major international indexing systems in the world, such as SCI(CC) and CA in US, SA in UK, Japanese JICST and 袪袞 in Russia.
The journal has been selected by the Chinese Academy of Sciences as an excellent journal in 1990, 1992, 1996 and 2000. It has also been appraised as a National Excellent Journal and awarded Second Prize twice in the national journal competitions sponsored by the State Science and Technology Commission in 1992 and 1997 and the Prize of the top hundred key cientific periodicals of China by the General Administration of News and Publication of China in 2002.

Instructions to Authors
Aims and scope
Chinese Physics C (CPC) covers the fields of Particle Physics, Nuclear Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology related to particles and nuclei, Detectors and Experimental Methods, Accelerator, Synchrotron Radiation and other related fields in the aspects of experiments, theories and their applications.
Chinese Physics C publishes Articles, Rapid Communications and Brief Reviews. The manuscripts should be written in English.
2. Submission
The web-based submission for manuscripts to Chinese Physics C is preferred over other methods. The web-site for submission is http://cpc-hepnp.ihep.ac.cn.
Original material. By submitting a paper for publication in Chinese Physics C, the authors imply that the material has not been published previously nor has been submitted for publication elsewhere.
3. Preparation of manuscripts
The following requirements regarding the presentation of the manuscript should be met:
3.1. Manuscript: The manuscript should be formatted in Latex (preferred) according to the CPC style which can be found at http://cpc-hepnp.ihep.ac.cn. The presentation should have the following order: Title, Author(s), Affiliation(s) and address(es), Abstract, Physics and Astronomy Classification Scheme (PACS) indexing codes, Key words, Main text, Acknowledgements, Appendices, References. All pages should be numbered.
3.2. Article: The total length should preferably not exceed six journal pages. The number of figures should preferably not exceed six.
3.3. Rapid Communications: The total length should not exceed four journal pages. The number of figures should preferably not exceed five.
3.4. Title: The title should be concise so that it conveys the particular nature of the contents of the paper to the informed readers.
3.5. Name(s), affiliation(s) and address(es): The name(s) of the author(s), affiliation(s) and the address(es) (including postal code) of the institute(s) should be given. The name of the author to whom correspondence is to be addressed should be indicated and the telephone and Fax numbers and/or E-mail address should be supplied as well. The name of Collaboration should follow the author's list if applicable.
3.6. Abstract: The abstract should contain the essence of the article and the results obtained. The appropriate Physics and Astronomy Classification Scheme (PACS) indexing codes (not exceeding three) must be assigned. The PACS codes can be obtained at http://www.aip.org/pacs/index.html. Three to eight key words should also be provided.
3.7. Formulae: Displayed formulae should be consecutively numbered. Special attention should be paid to the symbols that could easily be misread , such as i(lower case), I(cap.), l(el), 1(one), '(prime), o(lower case), O(cap.), 0(zero), $^\circ$(degree), u, 渭(Greek mu), v, V(cap.), 谓(Greek nu), x, X, 蠂蠂(Greek chi), 脳(multiplication operation), z, Z, p, P, 蟻(Greek rho), etc.
3.8. Footnotes: The footnotes should be typed at the end of the page on which they are alluded to. Please do not mix footnotes and references.
3.9. References: In the text, reference to other parts of the paper should be made by section (or equation) number, not by page number. References to other papers should be consecutively numbered in the text using square brackets and should be listed by number. The references should be as complete as possible:
For a paper in a journal:
