Aims and Scope
ACI International - Journal of the WAO is unique. No other periodical in this field provides such a readable format, allowing all those involved with allergy and practical immunology to vigorously exchange ideas, criticisms, and news, and of course to keep up to date with the latest high quality scientific work. ACI International - Journal of the WAO is not just aimed at allergists and immunologists, but also at primary care physicians, rheumatologists, internists, and pediatricians, as well as related healthcare professionals and researchers interested in this field.
The highly readable review articles help keep readers on top of this rapidly changing specialty, and address important issues of our time such as the impact of a changing environment, the emergence of new diseases specific to the workplace, and the ever-increasing role of allergology and immunology in routine medical practice. The original research articles address seminal issues of interest to a broad readership. The Horizons section and brief articles provide reports on the most important meetings around the world, key announcements, new product analyses, profiles of major institutes, and news of forthcoming events.
