Reproductive Sciences (formerly the Journal of the Society for Gynecologic Investigation) is the highly ranked and highly cited official publication of the Society for Gynecologic Investigation (SGI), whose mission is the advancement of knowledge in reproductive biology. The journal publishes original research and reviews, editorials, and position papers in all aspects of reproductive biology and its translation to clinical medicine, including the disciplines of maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics, gynecology, reproductive endocrinology, fertility/infertility, gynecologic/reproductive tract oncology, developmental biology, embryology, stem cell research, molecular/cellular biology and related fields.

Manuscript Submission Guidelines:
Reproductive Sciences ( RS) (formerly the Journal of the Society for Gynecologic Investigation) is the highly ranked and highly cited official publication of The Society for Gynecologic Investigation (SGI), whose mission is the advancement of knowledge in reproductive biology. The journal publishes original research and reviews, editorials, and position papers in all aspects of reproductive biology and its translation to clinical medicine, including the disciplines of maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics, gynecology, reproductive endocrinology, fertility/infertility, gynecologic/reproductive tract oncology, developmental biology, embryology, stem cell research, molecular/cellular biology and related fields. Editorial Policies Manuscripts are accepted for consideration on the condition that they are contributed solely to RS. No substantial part of a paper may have been published elsewhere, except for a scientific abstract. Manuscripts will be reviewed by the editor, members of the editorial board, and appropriate independent referees. If the article is accepted for publication, editorial revisions may be made to aid clarity and understanding without altering the meaning. Articles, reviews, and other text material in RS represent the opinion of the authors and do not necessarily represent the opinion of the editor, editorial board, or publisher. The editors and publisher deny any responsibility or liability for statements and opinions expressed by the authors. All manuscripts, questions, reviews, and announcements should be submitted electronically to http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/rsci. Authors will be required to set up an online account on the SageTrack system powered by ScholarOne. All parts of the manuscript, including abstract, footnotes, tables, legends, quoted material, and case studies, must be typed double-spaced鈥攖hat is, with a full line of space after every typed line. Leave generous margins鈥攁t least one inch鈥攐n both sides and at the top and bottom of every page. On the title page, please include the following information: 1. Names, degrees, and professional affiliation (position, department, institution, place) of all authors. 2. Name of the institution where the work reported was done. 3. Acknowledgment of grant support when appropriate. 4. Mailing address, telephone, and fax of corresponding author and e-mail addresses of all authors. The American Medical Association ( AMA) Manual of Style is the standard source of style. Abstract The abstract should be no longer than 150 words in length. The abstract should summarize the main points of the paper and be descriptive, narrative, and informative. At the bottom of the abstract, please also submit 3-5 keywords for your article. Tables All tables must be cited in text. Tables are to be numbered with Arabic numerals (Table 1, Table 2) in order of their text citation. Each table should be typed (double-spaced throughout) on a separate sheet of paper and should have a title. Word table format is preferred. Each table should have a legend in sufficient detail to allow understanding without reference to the text. Figure and Artwork Submission Artwork includes charts and graphs, maps, photographs, line art, and tables with 17 or more columns. Electronic Art Acceptable file formats include the following: TIFF, EPS, JPEG, and PDF. Microsoft application files are acceptable for vector art (line art). Scanned Images Line art (black and white) images should be scanned as a bitmap at 900ppi. Photos should be scanned as grayscale or CMYK at 300ppi. There is a color charge of $800 for the first figure and $200 for each additional figure. Figures are published online in color at no charge.
References References should be cited according to the AMA Manual of Style. In the text, please use a superscripted number that correlates with the reference at the end of the manuscript. When several references are cited simultaneously in the text, you can list the superscripted numbers together, for example, 鈥淢any researchers have debated this subject.鈥?2,5,9. Use 鈥渆t al鈥縡or cites of 3 authors or more in text. However, in the references, list up to 6 authors. If there are more than 6 authors, list the first 3 authors and then 鈥渆t al.鈥縏ype references double-spaced at the end of the manuscript numbered in order of appearance in the manuscript. Unpublished data and personal communications should be given as references. Manuscripts in press may be referenced; however, manuscripts that have been submitted for publication but have not been accepted yet should not be referenced.
