Instructions to Authors
General
APESM publishes articles on medical physics (including radiotherapy, radiography, imaging, nuclear medicine), biomedical engineering, and mathematical modeling applied to medicine and biology. The Journal is indexed and abstracted internationally. Submissions may be in the form of original Reviews, Scientific Papers, Scientific Notes, Technical Papers, Educational Notes, Book Reviews and Letters to the Editor. Authors should indicate into which of these categories they believe their manuscript fits.
Reviewing procedure
All manuscripts are reviewed by (at least) two anonymous referees. Revised manuscripts are subjected to the same refereeing procedure. Final review is undertaken by the Editor and the Editorial Board, whose decision is final.
Copyright
Acceptance of a manuscript for publication in APSEM implies transfer of copyright to ACPSEM. However, intellectual property remains with the authors and/or their employers, but copyright is maintained by ACPSEM.
Language
Manuscripts must be in English with English spelling. Authors whose native language is not English must have their manuscript checked for grammar and styling before submission. Manuscripts should be concise and presented in a clear and logical format. Manuscripts should be submitted in Word and typed double-spaced in a single-column on A4 size pages with Times New Roman 12-point font.
Line & page numbering:
Pages should be numbered consecutively and lines should be numbered.
