About the journal
Regular and Chaotic Dynamics is a quarterly peer-reviewed international scientific journal published in English. The journal was founded in 1996 by the Moscow State University, Moscow Centre for Continuous Mathematical Education, and Udmurt State University. Starting from the first issue of 2000 the journal is published jointly by Turpion Ltd, and the Russian Academy of Sciences in close cooperation with the Institute of Computer Science, Izhevsk. In 2004 the Steklov Mathematical Institute, RAS became a cofounder of the journal. The journal publishes only original research results on nonlinear dynamical problems, arising in mechanics, physics, mathematics and other fields of science.

RCD is a quarterly peer-reviewed international scientific journal published in English. The journal is intended for publishing original research results on dynamical problems arising in mechanics, physics, mathematics and other fields of science.
Topics covered include:
- integrability and nonintegrability of dynamical systems;
- vortex dynamics;
- nonholonomic mechanics;
- symmetries, Lie algebras and Hamiltonian formalism;
- celestial mechanics;
- determined chaos;
- fractal dynamics;
- selforganization theory and synergetics.
Notes for Contributors
The Editorial Board draws author's attention that Regular and Chaotic Dynamics is a mathematical journal and the results set forth in articles require proofs. Publication of the results of the numerical simulations without mathematical justification is not welcomed. The sole exception are the cases providing beautiful mathematical or mechanical interpretation. Overformalized texts without at least indirect physical interpretation are of little attractivity for the journal as well.
- The contributions should be submitted in English.
- The manuscript should be sent to borisov@rcd.ru. as the LaTEX file together with its Post Script file. All changes of standard LaTEX macroses should be stated at the beginning of the article.
- At the beginning of the article it is recommended to give a short account of the setting up of the problem under consideration and to bring clear-cut definition of the notions used in the paper. The manuscript has to be supplemented with a short abstract (3-5 sentences).
- The full names of the authors, their post and e-mail addresses should be included in the manuscript.
- The references and citations should be made automatically.
- The figures should be presented as the separate files in PCX, BMP or EPS formats.
