About the journal
Sponsored by the Chinese Society of Oceanography and Technology, edited by Editorial Committee of Acta Oceanologica Sinica and published by China Ocean Press, Acta Oceanologica Sinica started to be published in 1982. The Journal is a comprehensive academic quarterly.
Acta Oceanologica Sinica designed to provide a forum for important research papers of the marine scientific community, which reflect the information on a worldwide basis. The Journal takes as its prime function the introduction to advances related to oceanology.
Acta Oceanologica Sinica publishes scholarly papers on marine science and technology, including physics, chemistry, biology, hydrology, meteorology, aquaculture, engineering, remote sensing, instrumentation and meters, etc. Process reports on research projects and briefs on new technique and technologies are also included.
Acta Oceanologica Sinica was distributed by Pergamon Journals, and now distributed by China Ocean Press International Department. Free sample copies are distributed to the libraries of eminent universities and research institutes.
Acta Oceanologica Sinica is now on the list of the Source journals of China Scientific papers.And indexed/abstracted by:

《海洋学报》征稿简则
一、《海洋学报》是中国海洋学会主办的海洋科学综合性学术刊物，刊登我国海洋科学的最新研究成成果，传播和积累海洋科学技术成果，为中外海洋科学技术交流服务，为实现四化作贡献，读者对象为广大科技工作者、大专院校师生。
二、《海洋学报》用中、英文两种版本向国内外公开发行，中文版为双月刊，英文版为季刊。
三、《海洋学报》主要刊载海洋水文、气象、物理、化学、地质、地貌、生物、水产、环境保护及工程等基础研究和应用研究方面具有创造性的、代表我国海洋科学新水平的学术论文和研究报道以及具有重要指导意义的综述性文章。
四、来稿要求和注意事项
1． 来稿必须严格遵守《中华人民共和国科学技术保密条件》，不得涉及国家机密。
2． 来稿要求论点明确，文字简练，数据可靠。每篇论文(包括图表和参考文献)一般不得超过8000字，研究报道一般不得超过3000字。
3． 中、英文稿件，寄本刊编辑部。英文稿件，请附中文对照稿(稿件均请自留底稿)。
4． 英文稿需另附眉题(文题的简缩)，连空格不超过45个字母。英文稿的作者姓名须用汉语拼音。文中出现我国人名一律用汉语拼音。我国地名用《汉语拼音中国地名手册》(第三版，测绘出版社，1982年)中的英文名。
5． 插图用黑墨绘在绘图纸上，图最大不得超过14cmx20cm。图中文字、数字请用铅笔书写。
6． 中文稿中的参考文献请按文内出现先后顺序编号，置于正文之后，若属期刊文献，依次给出序号、作者、文题、期刊名(下划横线，外文期刊名可缩写)、卷号(下划波纹号)、年份、 期号、页码。若为图书文献，依次给出序号、作者、书名(论文集，应在书名前列出文题，外文书名下划横线)、出版单位、年份、页码。如果文献引自中文译本，则应于作者扣加译者，外文参考文献请用打字机打印，或用印刷体书写。
7． 计量单位一律采用国家颁布的法定计量单位。
8． 稿件可由作者所在单位学术委员会、业务部门或专家推荐，也可自由投稿。稿件一经发表，将按篇酌致稿酬和若干单行本(一般为每篇25-50份)，同时每位作者均可得到该期学报一本。不宜刊登的稿件，当尽快寄还作者。
9． 来稿请用挂号寄至：北京市海淀区大慧寺路8号《海洋学报》编辑部(邮政编码：100081)，并附作者地址、邮政编码、E－mail地址和电话，以便联系。
11. 为了使你的稿件早日发表，请按后附格式用WORD排版。
