Terrestrial, Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (TAO) is a medium for the publication of research papers on the
atmosphere, the ocean and the solid earth. It is published quarterly by the Chinese Geoscience Union, the Geological
Society, the Geophysical Society, and Meteorological Society of the Republic of China. The Journal publishes articles,
notes and correspondence. Submitted articles should be unpublished original contributions and of significant
scientific values. " Papers in Meteorological Research " published by the Meteorological Society of the R.O.C. after
Vol 12, No. 2, 1989 and " Bulletin of Geophysics " published by Institute of Geophysics, National Central University.
R.O.C. after No. 27 have merged into TAO. The publication of this Journal is partially subsidized by the National Science
Council of the Republic of China. For readers' reference: TAO has been selected for coverage in GEOREF Serials List
