This technical journal targets readers in the iron and steelmaking as well as steel shaping industries; plant and machine engineering companies and industrial furnace builders supplying to the iron and steel industry; raw material suppliers; steel users and steel/sheet processors.
The editorial content of stahl und eisen is based on a technical-scientific approach. In addition to the technical articles it contains a section featuring economic and business topics tailored to the specific interests of its target group and a section providing comprehensive reader information on educational, professional and legal topics

The Editorial Staff appreciates your interest in our journal. We check all submitted manuscripts and proposals for topics with great care. Therefore it might occasionally take a few weeks until you hear from us. The manuscript must under all circumstances be an original paper. The topic dealt with in the manuscript must not have been or be published elsewhere before its publication in stahl und eisen. Please check beforehand, whether similar articles have been published in recent issues of stahl und eisen.
