About the journal

Progress in Reaction Kinetics & Mechanism covers the fields of kinetics and mechanisms of chemical processes in the gas phase and solution of both simple and complex systems. The journal is published quarterly.
Articles range from atomic and small molecule processes, from both experimental and theoretical viewpoints, extending to the areas of physical, organic and inorganic chemistry not excluding biochemical processes. Ground state and excited state chemistry are covered again from both experimental and theoretical aspects, the latter reflecting the growth in computational chemistry to evermore complex systems.

Notes for the Guidance of Authors
Progress in Reaction Kinetics is an internationaljournal for the quarterly publication of both in-depthand current-awareness review articles. In-depth reviews should be comprehensive accounts bringing together work from many sources with the aim of providing an article of lasting value that will become established as the reference source in the particular subject. Current-awareness reviews, on the other hand, will normally focus on are latively newor recently developed fieldor technique giving a state-of-the-art account of the subject and may well refer to an arrower range of existing work.
The journal publishes both invited and contributed articles. Authors wishing to contribute articles to the journal should send their manuscripts in triplicate to one of the Editors. Complete manuscripts will be considered for publication, but intending authors may also submit summaries of proposed articles.
Papers submitted for editorial consideration and peer review should be typed double-spaced with ample margins and on one side of the paper only. Only papers written in English can be accepted for publication.
