About the journal
For more than 126 years the energy industry has considered POWER magazine as the definitive information source for the power generation market. We covered the the earliest advances of steam power plants in the 1800’s to addressing energy supply issues during World Wars I and II. We were the first to report on the birth of the nuclear power and today we report on modern advanced power technologies, such as wind, solar, and other renewable power sources. Our coverage of the world-wide power generation industry which includes combined cycle and coal-fired super-critical developments, clean technologies, IGCC, and more has never been more critical as the world grapples with so many supply options

Guidelines for Articles Contributed to POWER magazine Dr. Robert Peltier, PE, Editor-in-Chief 480-820-7855 editor@powermag.com www.powermag.com
I’m often asked, “What must I do to get an article published in POWER magazine?” The answer is always the same: We are always interested in current, well-written, noncommercial articles of interest to our audience. Such articles may not be for the next issue, but good material is always in demand and will eventually find a way into publication. There are a number of characteristics of that “good” article we are always searching for. The purpose of these guidelines is to give you some direction in proposing an article to the editors of POWER magazine and to let you know what we are expecting when you are told, “That sounds like a great idea.”
