Taking advantage of the knowledge and connections of the SPE European headquarters in Belgium, and members in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom, this new magazine will cover both the diversity and consistencies of the region. Monthly coverage will include:   European plastics industry news Industry perspectives Resins, additives and composites Process and processing technology Machinery; primary and auxiliary Moulds and mouldmaking Personnel Individual country departments/reports   Patrick Stapley, a UK-based journalist, has been named editor of Plastics Engineering - Europe. Stapley joins the new publication with a long history as a journalist reporting in engineering and manufacturing. Most recently he has written extensively about the media manufacturing industry, editing a series of trade titles and producing special magazines for major industry events. Writing about media manufacturing brought Stapley into close contact with the plastic industry, particularly injection moulding machinery manufacturers, mouldmakers and material producers.
