Editorial Board
Matin Durrani
Editor, Physics World
Dr Matin Durrani has been editor of Physics World since March 2006. He graduated with a degree in chemical physics from Bristol University, and did a PhD in polymer physics at the Cavendish Laboratory, Cambridge. After two years as a postdoc at the Cavendish, he joined Physics World in 1994.

Dens Milne
Associate editor, Physics World
Dens Milne is associate editor of Physics World. She has been with the magazine for over 10 years, having previously helped publish material covering the whole spectrum of the subject from a weekly condensed-matter journal to the 2000-page reference work Twentieth Century Physics. She has a degree in physical sciences.

Michael Banks
News editor, Physics World
Dr Michael Banks is news editor of Physics World. He graduated in physics from Loughborough University having spent a year at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research in Stuttgart, Germany. After then completing his PhD in experimental condensed-matter physics at the Max Planck Institute, he joined the magazine in October 2007.

Jo鉶 Medeiros
Features editor, Physics World
Dr Jo鉶 Medeiros has been features editor of Physics World since April 2008. Before that he worked as an intern editorial assistant for Seed magazine in London. He has a PhD in theoretical physics and cosmology from Imperial College London.

Margaret Harris
Reviews and Careers editor, Physics World
Dr Margaret Harris is reviews and careers editor of Physics World. She studied physics at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, in the US and then did a PhD in atomic physics at Durham University in the UK. She joined the magazine in August 2008.
