About the journal
|
Order is a specialist journal devoted to the theory of order and its applications. It is an authoritative forum on new and important developments in the subject, especially those with applications to computer science and operations research. For instance, order arises in complexity, computational geometry, data structures, scheduling, search and sorting. Order occurs throughout mathematics and especially in algebra, combinatorics, geometry, model theory, set theory and topology. This abundance and diversity throughout the mathematical landscape enriches and invigorates the theory of order itself. Order documents and promotes this vitality. |

Instructions to Authors
Order requests authors to make submissions of papers in LaTeX-2e using Kluwer Style files. Papers submitted in this format can be more readily processed through the reviewing stage and, should the paper be accepted for publication, the LaTeX-2e format also speeds up the publication phase. However, submissions using AMS-TeX and LAMS-TeX can also be accepted. For the purpose of refereeing, papers for publication should be initially submitted in hardcopy (triplicate) to: Order Journals Editorial Office Kluwer Academic Publishers P.O.Box 990 3300 AZ Dordrecht The Netherlands
Note: In order to accelerate the review process, authors are requested to submit their manuscripts electronically, as well. This can be done by attaching the source LaTeX-2e, pdf or ps file to an email message sent to the editor-in-chief: trotter@ASU.edu. Kluwer style files in LaTeX-2e format are available from http://www.wkap.nl/authors/jrnlstylefiles/.
Free Offprints
Fifty offprints of each article will be provided free of charge to the firstnamed author of each paper. Additional offprints can be ordered at the current rate when the proofs are returned to the publisher.
No page charges will be levied on authors or institutions.
Consent to Publish in this journal entails the author‘s irrevocable and exclusive authorisation of the publisher to collect any sums or considerations for copying or reproduction payable by third parties (as mentioned in article 17, paragraph 2, of the Dutch Copyright Act of 1912 and in the Royal Decree of June 20, 1974 (S.351) pursuant to article 16b of the Dutch Copyright Act of 1912) and/or in or out of court in connection herewith.
Order is surveyed by Mathematical Reviews, Zentralblatt für Mathematik/Mathematical Abstracts, PASCAL database.
