It is an authoritative forum on new and important developments in the subject, especially those with applications to computer science and operations research. For instance, order arises in complexity, computational geometry, data structures, scheduling, search and sorting. Order occurs throughout mathematics and especially in algebra, combinatorics, geometry, model theory, set theory and topology. This abundance and diversity throughout the mathematical landscape enriches and invigorates the theory of order itself. Papers submitted in this format can be more readily processed through the reviewing stage and, should the paper be accepted for publication, the LaTeX-2e format also speeds up the publication phase. However, submissions using AMS-TeX and LAMS-TeX can also be accepted. Free Offprints Fifty offprints of each article will be provided free of charge to the firstnamed author of each paper.
