All submissions are refereed, usually by two reviewers. Papers are welcome from authors outside of the Pacific Northwest. Instructions for authors are available in Northwest Science or by downloading the author instruction file listed below. Electronic submissions are accepted. Instructions to Authors Purpose and Scope The Northwest Scientifc Association represents  the  natural  and  social  sciences  in  the  Pacifc Northwest  (including Alaska, western Canada and the northwestern United States). The pages of Northwest  Science  are  open  to  original  and fundamental  research  in  the  basic  and  applied natural and social sciences. All submissions are refereed, usually by two reviewers and an Associate Editor. Papers from authors outside of the Pacifc Northwest are welcome.
