About the journal
NoDEA -Nonlinear Differential Equations and Applications
The purpose of the Journal NoDEA-Nonlinear Differential Equations and Applications is to encourage the interaction between pure mathematics and applied sciences. In particular, it will provide a forum for research papers on nonlinear differential equations and applications to natural sciences. General theory will include ordinary and partial differential equations (both deterministic and stochastic), variational and topological methods, control theory, qualitative analysis including stability and bifurcation. Applications to natural sciences include the treatment of problems in classical, statistical and quantum mechanics, electromagnetism, population dynamics, chemical kinetics, combustion theory.

Instructions to Authors
Submission of a manuscript implies
- that the work described has not been published before;
- that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere;
- that its publication has been approved by all coauthors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities at the institute where the work has been carried out;
- that, if and when the manuscript is accepted for publication, the authors agree to automatically transfer the copyright to the publisher; and
- that the manuscript will not be published elsewhere in any language without the consent of the copyright holder.
General Layout
To speed up publication, and to ensure a unified layout throughout the journal, we strongly encourage the use of LaTeX. We request, that neither overfull nor underfull boxes are contained in the text, that equations do not exceed the indicated text width, and that hyphenations as well as the page breaks have been checked. Apart from the following base commands, please do not change any default settings (e.g. no offsets) and do not use additional fonts and font sizes.
\documentstyle{article}
\textwidth=125mm
\textheight= 185mm
\parindent = 8mm
\frenchspacing Further details are available from the Assistant Editor.
Figures and TablesFigures should be sent as:
- fair copy on paper, whenever possible scaled to about 200%, or
- as EPS-file (Encapsulated PostScript).
All figures, tables, etc. should be numbered and the appropriate space reserved in the text, with the insertion point clearly indicated.
NoDEA will be published quarterly. LaTeX will be used for producing camera-ready versions of papers for publication. Therefore, submission of articles in LaTeX is strongly encouraged, typed following the above guidelines. Very simple layout instructions are available from the Assistant Editor nodea@mat.uniroma1.it.
Manuscript SubmissionManuscripts (sent in triplicate) should be addressed to the Chairman, Prof. I. Capuzzo Dolcetta, or to any other member of the Editorial Committee. Authors must also provide the LaTeX source file on a floppy disk (IBM or Apple format) or send it by electronic mail (nodea@mat.uniroma1.it). Submission of a manuscript will be understood to mean that the paper is not being considered for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts must be written in English. Incoming manuscripts are acknowledged immediately. In order to avoid a large backlog, we strongly encourage authors to restrict the length of their papers to no more than 25 pages. Longer papers will be accepted only in exceptional cases. Authors will be notified of the Editors' publishing decision once the refereeing process has been completed. Manuscripts will not be returned. Thirty reprints of published papers will be sent to the submitting author free of charge. Additional reprints may be ordered from the Publisher.
