About the journal
The Journal of Wildlife Management is a quarterly publication long recognized as a major source of knowledge in wildlife science, with papers on wildlife research and management.
Instructions to Authors
Starting in mid-April, we selected about a dozen manuscripts recently submitted to JWM and asked the authors to resubmit their papers through AllenTrack. We are using these as trial cases to work out the bugs in the new system. We will repeat this procedure in mid-May for another dozen or so manuscripts.
Starting 1 June, all manuscripts for JWM must be submitted using AllenTrack; authors who mail manuscripts to Morrison will be directed to upload them on AllenTrack. Additionally, authors with papers in the revision stage must also upload them into AllenTrack. Authors may visit the AllenTrack test site at http://test.allentrack.net to review the system only. You may visit the actual JWM AllenTrack site (http://jwm.allentrack.net) at any time but may not upload a manuscript until 1 June.
Other users of AllenTrack have told us that the learning curve is short and that authors find the system faster, much more efficient, and largely paperless.
