Manuscripts should be written in English. Abstracts not more than 200 words for a full paper and 100 words for a short paper outlining the scope and contributions of the paper, are required.
Keywords (no more than 4 words) should be given and placed below the author's affiliation.
A subject index, referred to the website of the JCIE, should be furnished below the keywords.
Manuscripts should be typed double-spaced (one full blank line between lines of type) on one side of the page of a 210⊙300 mm (A4 format) white paper using a font size of 11 points or larger. The pages should be numbered.
Headings for sections should be centered with numbers, and headings for subsections should start from the left margin.
V. USE OF UNITS :
The submitted manuscripts must use SI (Metric) Units in text, figures, or tables. English units may be included parenthetically.
VI. MATHEMATICAL :
All mathematical expressions and formulas should be typewritten. Greek letters and other symbols not available on the typewriter should be carefully inserted in ink.
Arabic numbers that identify mathematical expressions should be enclosed in parentheses.
A nomenclature defining symbols should be included. Symbols and units should be listed in English and in alphabetical order.
VI. FIGURES:
Once the paper is accepted, the author should promptly supply original copies of all of the illustrations, line drawings drafted in ink on white or drawing paper (or "glosses"), and photographs on glossy paper.
All illustrations, photographs, tables, etc., should be numbered and titled and have descriptive captions.
Lettering should be large enough to be clearly legible when the illustration is reduced.
VII. LENGTH :
The length of a manuscript submitted should not exceed 30 double-spaced pages including figures and illustrations for a full paper, and should not exceed 8 double-spaced typewritten pages with four figures and/or illustrations, or 11 double-spaced typewritten pages without figures and/or illustrations for a short paper.
VIII. REFERENCES :
References should be cited in the text by giving the last name of the author(s) and the year of publication of the reference, such as "The work (Morris and Horward, 1971)..."or "Morris and Horward (1971) had ...".
With three or more names use the form ¨Huang et al. (1995)〃 in the text. When two or more references have the same text identification, please distinguish them by appending¨a〃, ¨b〃, etc, to the year of publication..
References should include the complete title(s), the number of the volume and the page(s) of the information cited.
References should be listed in alphabetical order, according to the last name of the first author, at the end of the paper. Some sample references are as follows:
