Instructions to Authors
This completed checklist and a DISKETTE/CD-ROM must accompany each manuscript submitted to The Journal of Reproductive Medicine?/sup>. If incomplete, the manuscript will be returned to the author for correction before review.

Provide a statement veryfying that (1) the manuscript is original, (2) all the authors were active participants, (3) you wish to submit the manuscript for publication in The Journal of Reproductive Medicine, and (4) the manuscript is not currently under consideration for publication in another journal. |

Authors may suggest the names of specific reviewers who they believe to be particularly qualified to review the manuscript. All requests will be regarded as confidential and will be considered by the Editor when assigning reviewers. |

Submit 3 sets of the double-spaced manuscript (reference list also double spaced), with ample margins. |

Limit the length of the text to approximately 3,000 words for clinical perspectives and original articles and to 1,000 words for case reports and brief clinical communications. |

Number the pages consecutively, starting with the title page, and continuing in the following order: synopsis, abstract and keywords, body of text, references, figure legends and tables. |

Provide signed permission forms from the copyright holder and original author for all previously published tables or figures. |
| [ ] |
Cite all references, figures (in arabic numerals) and tables (in roman numerals) in the text. |

Use generic names of drugs when possible. The first word of the trade name of every drug cited should be capitalized, and the manuscript must include the manufacturer抯 name and location (city, state/province, country). Express weights and measures in metric values. |

Limit the title to no more than 100 characters (including spaces), using no abbreviations. |

Submit 3 prints for each figure. (Color illustrations in excess of 1 page will be published at the author抯 expense.) |

All photographs (line art, grayscale and color) must be in the form of glossy prints surrounded by a 0.5-in, white border. (Slides will not be accepted.) |

Each photograph or section (i.e., A, B, etc.) must be at least 3.5 inches wide. |

Scan images at the highest dpi possible. Do not modify a low-resolution image by increasing the dpi. All files must be sent at no less than 300 dpi in one of the following formats: TIFF, GIF, JPEG, BMP, PHOTOSHOP, PICT or EPS. Color files should be sent in CMYK mode for 4-color separation. |

Provide information on stain and magnification, and clearly identify critical areas of radiographs, photomicrographs, etc. |

Do not write on either the front or back of figures. Do not attach figures to any type of paper. Use self-sticking notes to indicate numbers, directional position and corresponding article title. Do not place legends on the figure itself; place them all on 1 page. |
