It includes original papers covering the entire spectrum of plant nutrition and soil science. In addition, short communications, book reviews and discussions on current literature are provided. The section on plant nutrition includes papers on plant physiology, plant nutrition, fertilization, food quality and ecology. The soil science section encompasses topics such as the physics, chemistry, biology, mineralogy, ecology, genetics, systematics and distribution of soils as well as soil fertility and soil protection. Papers on geomorphology, hydrology, land use and landscaping are also included. Kurztext Seit 1922 ist die Zeitschrift für Pflanzenernährung und Bodenkunde eine der führenden europäischen Zeitschriften auf ihrem Gebiet. Sie enthält Originalbeiträge aus dem gesamten Spektrum der Pflanzenernährung und Bodenkunde. Die Artikel sind interdisziplinär und beinhalten auch Themen wie Ökologie und Umweltchemie. Neben wertvollen Originalbeiträgen findet der Leser Literatur- und Buchbesprechungen.
