Instructions to Authors
Articles submitted to the journal must be concise, clear and written in a simple fluent english. The manuscript may be submitted to the Cheif Editor or to one of the associate editors. If the article is submitted to Executive Editor or to one of the editors, a copy of the covering letter should be sent to the editor-in-chief. Reception of the article will be acknowledged by the editor concerned. Articles will be reviewed by two reviewers and the articles accepted for publication will be immediately processed for publication. The manuscripts wil be accepted for publication from the members as well as non-members of the Society. However, non-memebers will have to bear page charges or 10 dollars (100 Rs) per page. The authors will be charged for scanning cost of the photographs in their articles. For reviews, two copies of the book (non-refundable) are to be submitted to Arun Goyal.

Text should be submitted as a Microsoft Word file, and graphics may be submitted as Corel Draw, Canvas, Adobe Illustrator, TIFF, or PICT file. Please ensure that all files are free from computer viruses.
PREPARATION OF THE MANUSCRIPT : Manuscript should be typed clearly with double spacing leaving one inch margins on both sides. Final accepted manuscripts must be accompanied by a soft copy. Figures should be neatly drawn on thick tracing paper with dark black ink or should be laser printed. For electronic submission, see specified instructions above. The manuscript is to be orgainized as follows: Title page with author's last name and address, abstract, texts, acknowledgements, literature cited, table legends to fugures and figures. The text should be divided into an introductory section (no title required), materials and methods (sub-divided by the appropirate sub-headings), results and discussion. The last sentence of the discussion should lead into a clear cut conclusion of the article. The results and discussion may be combined, desired. For review article, letter to the editor and hypothesis, the subject is to be treated under appropriate sub-headings with possible sub-divisions. The title should be short and self explanatory, typed in upper case and bold letters, authors name in upper case and full address in lower case. Foot notes, indication for the corresponding author(*), a running title and abbreviations may be given on this page. Second page should contain a brief abstract of the paper (no title). It is to be typed in lower case. The text should start from the next page. The references in the text are to be given by name as per the international standard. For example, Arnon, 1949; Srivastava and Singh, 1987; Keppler et al., 1989 etc. The presentation of references in the respective section should be under the heading literature cited and be arranged alphabetically in the following manner:

TABLE AND FIGURES: The appropriate position of the tables and figures should be indicated with pencil in the margin of the text. Tables and figures are to be indentified with Roman and Arabic numerals respectively. In the back of each figure number of the figure and the author's name should be indicated.
