The selection of papers reflects the role of the Society for Imaging Science and Technology (IS&T) as a window on imaging, promoting communication and understanding across the boundaries of the many disciplines involved in modern imaging. Content: Typical issues include research papers and comprehensive reviews on a variety of topics within the imaging field. In addition to papers, the journal accepts Notes and Letters to the Editor. From time to time the Journal of Imaging Science and Technology features a Special Section with a group of related papers introduced by a Guest Editor. Imaging research topics that have coverage in the Journal of Imaging Science and Technology include: Chemistry of photosensitive materials Coating technologies Physics and chemistry of AgX Photopolymers Non-impact printing technologies Materials for electrophotography Photographic emulsions Photoconductors Chemical and spectral sensitization Latent image Prepress and printing technologies Holography Remote sensing Image analysis and interpretation Color imaging Image permanence Instructions to Authors Submission: Submit only original manuscripts not previously published and not currently submitted for publication elsewhere.
