This quarterly publication contains all peer-reviewedn articles.   Instructions to Authors The Journal of Advanced Materials is a refereed journal. All papers submitted for publication should be original. All papers will be peer reviewed, with comments returned to the author for necessary corrections or modifications. Please submit an original and two copies of your paper, along with an IBM compatible disk in Word or Word Perfect format. Please use only SI Units. Style: A typical paper should contain a brief abstract, followed by; Introduction, Experimental (discuss the materials and processes and give a description of testing techniques); Discussion of Results; and Conclusions. References should be as follows: R.M. Baucom and J.M. Marchello, "Powder Curtain Prepreg Process," Journal of Advanced Materials, 25 (4) 31 (1994), giving the volume in bold, issue number and the beginning page for the article, followed by the year of publication. Graphs: Computer generated graphs are satisfactory, if they are distinct and are produced by graphics intended for publication. Printing on all graphs and figures must be such that reduction can be effected. All papers will be typeset by SAMPE?/SUB>. Glossy prints of all photos are required and need to be labeled with corresponding caption on back. Refer to graphs, diagrams and illustrations as Figure 1, Figure 2, etc. A brief biographical sketch of each author should accompany the article. A list of captions for all figures and tables should be included. Captions should be brief. Descriptive material should be in the text. Refer to graphs, diagrams, and illustrations as Figure 1, Table 1, etc. Do not imbed artwork in document, send them all as separate files.
