About the journal

Instructions to Authors
In縴nieria Chemiczna i Procesowa (Chemical and Process Engineering) publishes papers in Polish, English and German on chemical engineering and processing as well as other disciplines including designing of apparatuses and chemical processes. Papers must be original and not yet published anywhere else.
The Editors will accept for publication:
- papers no longer than 24 pages including tables, figures and abstracts,
- research communications no longer than 5 pages,
- letters to the Editors.
Papers submitted for publication should include the title, the names of the authors, the name of the institutions they are employed by and where the paper was prepared. A short abstract of app. 50 words in Polish and English as well as a summary of 500 words in both languages should be enclosed. In the summary and the abstract the main topics of the paper should be outlined.
Papers should be supplied in triplicate and be double-spaced throughout. In addition, a floppy disk containing a Microsoft Word file should be provided. Other file formats will not be accepted. The headings, i.e. titles and subtitles of the paper should be written in block capitals without underlining or scattering. Italics only should be used to distinguish selected parts of the text. The text should contain no more than 30 rows per page including space of 4 cm for marginsins. Some distinguishing of the text should be suggested by underlining in pencil. The illustrative material should be an essential addition to the text. Duplication of information presented in a form of tables and figures should be avoided. Diagrams should be clear and should present only essential results.
Figures should be supplied in three copies. Unless they are provided on a floppy disk they should be prepared on tracing paper with good quality drawing ink. Photographs should be well-contrasted prints. Each figure should be labelled and contain the title of the paper, proper legend in Polish and English and the figure number. Location of drawings in the text should be marked in pencil. Tables should be numbered in its own sequence. Bilingual descriptions should be also applied to the tables.
All symbols should be defined at the end of the text in alphabetical order in Polish and English. References in the text to published literature should be denoted by numbers in square brackets and listed in the Reference section at the end of the the paperarticle in the order of occurrence. Each reference should include the reference number, author抯 initials and surnames, abbreviation of the cited journal title (according to international standards), year of issue, volume number as well as initial page number. References to books should include author抯 surname followed by the initials, book title, placeand place of issue, publisher抯 name and year of issue.
Editorial board is responsible for making the decision on acceptability of the paper. Papers rejected are sent back to the authors, however one copy is retained by the editors. Publishers reserve the right to make necessary changes to the text. Authors are supplied with one free copy of the journal and 10 proofsproofs. The additional copies can be delivered on author抯 request made when submitting the paper for publication.
