About the journal
Launched in 1987, this journal covers the most important aspects as well as the latest developments in Condensed Matter, Statistical, Applied Physics and High Tc Superconductivity. One unique feature of this journal is its review section which contains articles with permanent research value besides the state-of-the-art research work in the relevant subject areas.
To ensure top quality, review articles are by invitation only and all research papers undergo stringent refereeing. We welcome you to submit your research papers to IJMPB for publication.
Complimentary copies are available upon request.

Instructions to Authors Authors are invited to submit original review or research articles for publication in IJMPB to any of its editors directly or via the Web-based submission system.
Electronic submissions are acceptable by some editorial members only if the files are posted on the LANL archives so that the format meets the standards. Hardcopy submission must be done in triplicate.
Detailed guidelines for contributors are listed here. To expedite publication, authors of accepted papers should send the TeX/LaTeX source of the final version to the publisher's Singapore office immediately by e-mail.
Detailed Guidelines for Contributors
| (1) |
The preferred way of submission is electronic submission. Authors may directly submit their manuscripts to an Editorial Board Member who is working in the relevant field. Alternatively, Authors may submit their manuscripts via the Web-based submission system by first registering themselves with the system. |
| (2) |
Hardcopy submission may be done if electronic submission is not possible. In this case, the manuscripts must be mailed in triplicate to an Editorial Board Member who is working in the relevant field or to the Editorial Department (IJMPB) of World Scientific Publishing Company. |
| (3) |
Submission of a manuscript indicates a tacit understanding that the paper is not under consideration for publication with other journals. Once a paper is accepted, authors are assumed to have transferred the copyright of the paper to World Scientific. |
| (4) |
All submitted articles will be refereed. Authors may recommend appropriate persons as referees for their papers, but this in no way binds the editors to follow their suggestions. Authors may also request to remain anonymous to the referees. |
| (5) |
The manuscript, including the abstract, references, tables, figures and figure captions, should be clearly typed in English, double-spaced and only on one side of clean A4 or letter-sized papers, with an ample margin around the text. |
| (6) |
Legible, compact notation may be used so long as it conforms to current practice. Each symbol must be clear, either typed neatly or written in ink and properly aligned to distinguish superscripts and subscripts. Vectors should be typed in bold. Sections and subsections of a paper are numbered with Arabic numerals; so are tables and figures. Each page of the manuscript should be numbered at the top. |
| (7) |
Footnotes, other than those referring to acknowledgments and information on grants, should be labeled alphabetically and placed at the bottom of the manuscript page (and not listed separately). |
| (8) |
References are numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals, in the order of first appearance, and are designated by numbered superscripts in the text. They should be listed at the end of the text. The general format preferred is as follows:
| 1. |
F. Wilczek, Int. J. Mod. Phys. A7, 3911 (1992). |
| 2. |
J. D. Bjorken, in Lecture Notes on Current-Induced Reactions, eds. J. Komer et al. (Springer, Heidelberg, 1975). |
| 3. |
A. Bohr and B. R. Mottelson, Nuclear Structure (Benjamin, New York, 1969), Vol. I, pp. 100-102. |
| 4. |
R. C. Webb, PhD thesis, Princeton University, 1972. |
| 5. |
T. Toimela, Helsinki Research Institute for Theoretical Physics, Report No. HU-TFT-82-37, 1982 (unpublished). |
| 6. |
I. L. Shapiro and J. Sola, [hep-ph/0104182]
| |
| (9) |
Tables and figures are also numbered in the order in which they are cited in the text. Each table and each figure should occupy a separate page. |
| (10) |
Postscript/dvi/eps and other standard versions of figure files will be accepted if the quality is good. They should be large enough for reduction to a minimum of 50% of their original size. At the bottom of each figure, the name(s) of the author(s), the title of the paper and the figure number should be clearly typed. A list of figure captions should be given on a separate sheet. A condensed paper title (for running heads) should also be provided. |
| (11) |
Papers submitted will not be returned to the authors. There will be no page charge and a total of 50 free offprints (reprints) will be provided to the first or corresponding Authors. Purchase orders for additional offprints (reprints) can be made on order forms which will be sent to the authors. |
| (12) |
To expedite publication, Authors of accepted papers should send the source file of the final version to the publisher's Singapore office immediately, either by e-mail or on disk. The preferred format is Latex2e. |
| (13) |
Latex2e Template and instruction can be download here: ?/FONT> (readme / Download) ?/FONT> Copyright Transfer Form |
