About the journal Interdisciplinary Science Reviews is a journal of science and human affairs which aims to set contemporary and historical developments in science and technology in their wider cultural context. ISR is both pluralistic and transdisciplinary in its approach. As well as publishing papers addressing interdisciplinary issues within science, the journal is concerned with illuminating the character of the sciences using tools and insights from history, philosophy, sociology, cultural studies, and the humanities, as well as with questions of ethics, policy, and communication
