Articles discussing methodology, and reviews of the current state of knowledge and possibilities for future research, are especially welcome. Instructions to Authors Papers offered for publication should in the first instance be submitted in Word for Windows format, as an e-mail attachment to r.iliffe@ic.ac.uk, or on disc to Dr Rob Iliffe, Centre for the History of Science, Technology and Medicine, Imperial College, London, SW7 2AZ, UK. If and when the paper is accepted, a printed copy will be required in addition to the final text in electronic form. Original artwork should not be sent until the paper is accepted.
