About the journal

 |
High Temperature (Teplofizika vysokikh temperatur), founded in 1963, is one of the most prominent physical engineering journals to come out of Russia in recent years. The journal deals with problems concerning the plasma technology, high-temperature thermal and erosion protection, intensification of thermal processes, nuclear power engineering, direct transformation of thermal and chemical energy into electric energy, chemical technology, materials technology, investigations of thermophysical properties of materials, interaction of energy with material, and so forth. The journal publishes studies by many famous Russian and foreign researchers in high-temperature thermal physics. It faithfully reflects the changes in the current trends in thermal physics. It always presents the results of contemporary experimental investigations; studies in the numerical simulation of complex thermal, gas-dynamics, and heat-and-mass-transfer processes; and the latest achievements in the theoretical description of the properties of high-temperature media.
High Temperature is abstracted and/or indexed in Chemical Abstracts; Compendex Chemistry database; INSPEC Information Services.
