The special issue consists of contributed papers on different as-pects of Tunable Components and Switches for Agile RF Sys-tems. Particular interest is given on electronically scanning reflectarrays based on semi-conductor phase shifters and tunable liquid crystal unit cells, tunable antennas for multi-band mobile communications, RF-MEMS switches and tunable dielectrics such as ferroelectrics and liquid crystals for reconfigurable microwave components and antenna subsystems.
