Instructions to Authors
■ Papers and information submitted for publication should concern problems associated with investigation into the production
and application of fibres and textiles.
■ Generally all articles in the sections 'Research and Development' as well as 'General Problems' are independently reviewed by two reviewers, well-known scientists and experts in the speciality the article concerns. The editors reserve the right not to publish an article assessed by the reviewers as inappropriate regarding subject matter or level.
■ The submission of above-mentioned papers is a representation that the manuscript has not been published previously and is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. Each author is obliged to sign a 'Contract for transferral of author's
rights' (copyright), which also contains the information mentioned above. We will send the copyright after preliminary acceptation of the article for publication in our journal. In those cases where the paper has been presented at a conference, it is necessary to give an appropriate statement note placed after the heading.

■ Authors are requested to give an abstract of the paper, preferably no longer than 200 words, and a list of 4-6 key words.
■ For papers which have been translated to English from Polish or Russian the authors are requested to submit one Polish or
Russian copy with title, abstract and key words.
■ SI units must be used, or at least given comprehensive explanations, abbreviations according IUPAC and ISO standards.
■ Footnotes should be avoided. When their use is absolutely necessary, they should be numbered consecutively using Arabic
numerals and appended at the end of the paper.
■ Cited references should be listed at the end of the paper in the order of quotation and contain: for a paper in a periodical - the initials and surname of the author(s), title of the journal, year of issue, volume number, and page numbers; for a book: - the initials and surname of the author(s), full name of the book, publisher, place and year of publishing and the pages cited; for patents - the country, patent number and year.
■ All tables and figures should be numbered (with Arabic numerals) consecutively and separately throughout the paper, and
