About the journal
The international multidisciplinary journal is devoted to the publication of studies covering the whole range of experimental research on disease processes and toxicology including cell biological investigations. Its aim is to support progress in the interdisciplinary cooperation of researchers working in pathobiology, toxicology, and cell biology independent of the methods applied. During the past decades increasing attention has been paid to the importance of toxic influence in the pathogenesis of human and animal diseases. This is why Experimental and Toxicologic Pathology meets the urgent need for an interdisciplinary journal felt by a wide variety of experts in medicine and biology, including pathologists, toxicologists, biologists, physicians, veterinary surgeons, pharmacists, and pharmacologists working in academic, industrial or clinical institutions.

Copyright: With the submission of a manuscript the authors declare that the submitted work has not been published before (except as part of a thesis or lecture note or report, or in the form of an abstract); that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere; that its publication has been approved by all co-authors as well as by the authorities at the institute where the work has been carried out; that written permission of copyright holders is obtained by the authors for material used from other copyrighted sources; that, if and when the manuscript is accepted for publication, the authors hand over the transferable copyrights of the accepted manuscript to the publisher; and that the manuscript or parts thereof will thus not be published elsewhere in any language without the consent of the copyright holder. Manuscript preparation: Manuscripts should be prepared in the style of the journal and written in clear and concise English; incomprehensible papers and those not conforming to the style of the journal will be returned to authors for revision. Manuscripts should be typewritten double-spaced throughout, with 2.5 cm margins on all sides. All pages should be numbered, including the title page.
Order of pages: Order manuscripts as follows: title or cover page, including title of article, name(s) of author(s), and affiliation(s) of author(s), number of figures and tables, address for correspondence, key words; summary; text pages; acknowledgements; references; tables; figure legends; and figures (numbered and identified).
Tables and figures: All artwork must be in camera-ready form, preferably as glossy photographic prints, clean computer-generated charts, or sharp photocopies. Original line drawings are acceptable, but poor photocopies are not. Illustrations must be within the limits of the standard printed page (175 mm x 235 mm; column width: 85 mm). The acceptable number of illustrations is an equivalent of 2-3 standard pages. The size of lettering and numerals has to be appropriate to that of the figure, taking into account the necessary reduction in size. The legends for photomicrographs must state the staining method and magnification. The cost for illustrations in colour will be the responsibility of the contributor(s).
Page proofs: One set of proofs will be sent to the corresponding author for checking. Corrections should be restricted to printers' errors only. They should be returned to the publishing house within 48 hours.
