This journal is a translation of papers from the Transactions of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers of Japan, the foremost Japanese publication in the field. Published in three parts (Part I-Communications; Part II-Electronics; Part III-Fundamentals of Electronic Science), the journal covers the entire field of electronic engineering, including circuits and networks; signal and image processing; communication theory and systems; electromagnetic theory; switching, optical, microwave and millimeter-wave technology; quantum electronics; semiconductor technology and integrated circuits; artificial intelligence; and applied mathematics.

A Translation of Denshi Joho Tsushin Gakkai Ronbunshi
DENSHI JOHO TSUSHIN GAKKAI RONBUNSHI, the Transactions of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers of Japan, is published in seven monthly sections (parts A, B-I, B-II, C-I, C-II, D-I, and D-II, ISSN 0913-5707, 0915-1877, 0915-1885, 0915-1893, 0915-1907, 0915-1919, and 0915-1923), totaling 84 issues per year. Papers translated from Denshi Joho Tsushin Gakkai Ronbunshi are published in Part 1: Communications, Part 2: Electronics, and Part 3: Fundamental Electronic Science, of Electronics and Communications in Japan, as well as in Systems and Computers in Japan. All four journals are published by Wiley Periodicals, Inc., through Wiley Subscription Services, Inc., a Wiley Company, with the permission and cooperation of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communications Engineers of Japan (IEICEJ).
ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATIONS IN JAPAN, PART 1: COMMUNICATIONS (ISSN 8756-6621), a monthly journal (one volume per year), publishes papers on communication networks, systems, and services, switching and communications processing, signaling systems and communications protocols, communications theory and software, source encoding, transmission equipment and terminals, optical, cable and waveguide communications, devices and circuits, measurements and metrology, as well as on radio, mobile and satellite communications, antennas and propagation, and electromagnetic shielding and compatibility. The views expressed in this journal are exclusively those of the Japanese authors and editors. The Japanese authors are generally consulted regarding the translation of their papers, but are not responsible for the published English versions.
