Provides essential information to professional engineers of all disciplines currently engaged in the application of computer technology. Aims and Scope Computing & Control Engineering is aimed at practising computing and control engineers. This magazine addresses the practice of computing software and information systems and their applications, together with control systems, automation and robotics, through articles on methods, techniques and processes currently used in industrial, commercial and bussiness applications. Provides essential information to professional engineers of all disciplines currently engaged in the application of computer technology. Instructions to Authors MANUSCRIPT REQUIREMENTS 1 Contributions should be around 2000–2500 words and should be submitted electronically as Word documents (or in a compatible word-processing language). If colour illustrations are included three printed copies should also be sent. Where only printed copies (double-line spacing, please) are submitted, authors should note that an electronic version will be required following acceptance of the article. 2 A short summary/abstract of about 30 words should be provided. 3 Diagrams and photographs should be included to illustrate the subject matter, to add interest to the article and to enhance the presentation of the material. A separate list of captions should be included at the end of the article. Please keep illustrations separate from the text in electronic submissions. Photographs can be submitted as prints (colour or black and white), but we can also use slides, transparencies and electronic pictures. Photos sent electronically should be scanned at a minimum of 400 dpi for a 155×102mm (6×4 inch) sized picture. 4 SI units should be used throughout. 5 In general, articles should be self-contained and should not rely on multiple references to other work, as not all the readers will have access to technical libraries.
