A biannual publication of the Chemical Society of Ethiopia. The Chemical Society of Ethiopia was founded in 1983. The aims of the Society are: (1) to develop and promote chemistry education and research, (2) to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas through professional publications and regular meetings, (3) to popularize chemistry especially in schools, (4) to enhance the participation and collaboration of professional chemists in matters pertaining to national policies in curriculum development and the training of chemists, (5) to establish close relationships among chemists and other professionals engaged in chemistry-related fields of activities so as to increase the role of chemistry in national development, (6) to promote the improvement of the qualifications of members, and (7) to establish and strengthen links with other societies, national and international, which pursue similar aims.

2.2. Short communications containing the results of a limited investigation. These should be properly documented by references to the literature and by description of experimental procedures.
2.3. Reviews presenting thorough documentation on subjects of active and current interest in chemical sciences. Reviews are usually by invitation. However authors may submit outlines and upon notification of interest by the Editorial Board turn in complete manuscripts.
2.4. Feature Articles in Chemical Education, Chemistry and Society, etc.
3. The Manuscript.
3.1. All manuscripts must be written in English

3.3. Formulas, Figures and Tables should be drawn or typed on good quality paper using black waterproof ink with special and artistic care, numbered and attached at the end of the manuscript.
