This journal is now published by EDP Sciences. The contents published by Elsevier are still available.
http://www.edpsciences.org

Aquatic Living Resources publishes original research papers, review articles and short notes dealing with the exploitation and production of all living resources in marine, brackish and freshwater environments. Priority is given to applied research; studies on basic knowledge will not be excluded. Submission of multidisciplinary papers is strongly encouraged, in particular with regard to resource management approaches. Manuscripts submitted are subject to careful peer and editorial review to meet high international science standards and quality. The Editorial Advisory Committee is responsible for the journal's scientific policy.

Primary subject areas include:

population genetics, life history of aquatic animals and plants, physiology, biochemistry;
stock assessment and survey methodology, population dynamics, recruitment, general approaches to management and economic aspects, ecosystem management;
production techniques, nutrition, reproduction, parasites, infectious diseases relevant to aquaculture, environmental risk issues;
living resources as environmental and diversity indicators, modelling, impact of environmental fluctuations on populations, critical habitat identification conservation.
