Two journals «Annales de l'Institut Henri Poincaré, physique théorique» and «Helvetica Physica Acta» have merged into a single new journal under the name «Annales Henri Poincaré. A Journal of Theoretical and Mathematical Physics». New Subscriptions/Renewals Subscriptions are entered on a calender year basis for the projected number of volumes stated in the price list. Subscriptions are entered on "standing order" basis unless otherwise specified. They are renewed automatically unless cancelled on time.

Instructions to Authors
Notes to AuthorsAuthorship General Layout Tables and Figures Submission of Manuscripts Galley Proofs Reprints
AuthorshipSubmission of a manuscript implies
- that the work described has not been published before;
- that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere;
- that its publication has been approved by all coauthors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities at the institute where the work has been carried out;
- that, if and when the manuscript is accepted for publication, the authors agree to automatically transfer the copyright to the publisher; and
- that the manuscript will not be published elsewhere in any language without the consent of the copyright holder; and
- that the authors will retain the rights to reproduce their contributions in other form with prior information to the copyright holder.
General LayoutTo speed up publication, and to ensure a unified layout throughout the journal, we strongly encourage the use of LaTeX. We request, that neither overfull nor underfull boxes are contained in the text, that equations do not exceed the indicated text width, and that hyphenations as well as the page breaks have been checked. Apart from the following base commands, please do not change any default settings (e.g. no offsets) and do not use additional fonts and font sizes. \documentstyle{article} \textwidth=125mm \textheight= 185mm \parindent = 8mm \frenchspacing Further details are available from the the Secretary, Mrs. Delongeas.
Figures and Tables
Figures should be sent as:
- preferably as EPS-file (Encapsulated PostScript).
- fair copy on paper, whenever possible scaled to about 200%, or All figures, tables, etc. should be numbered and the appropriate space reserved in the text, with the insertion point clearly indicated.
Submission of ManuscriptsAHP will be published bimonthly. LaTeX will be used for producing camera-ready versions of papers for publication. Therefore, submission of articles in LaTeX is strongly encouraged, typed following the above guidelines. Very simple layout instructions are available from the Chief Editor at ahp@cpht.polytechnique.fr
- Manuscripts (sent in duplicate) should be addressed to the Secretary, Mrs. Delongeas, to the Chief Editor Vincent Rivasseau, or to any Section Editor.
Mrs. Chantal Delongeas Centre de Physique Th閛rique Ecole Polytechnique F - 91128 Palaiseau Cedex, France e-mail: ahp@cpht.polytechnique.fr
- LaTeX will be used for producing the papers for publication. It is therefore advisable for authors to submit their papers in LaTeX preferably by e-mail to the Chief Editor. If the author chooses to submit his manuscript to a Section Editor, it is advisable for him to send another copy of his paper to the Chief Editor.
- Being able to submit a paper in LaTeX is not a prerequisite for having papers accepted for publication in AHP. It just means that an accepted paper in another form will need to be typeset in LaTeX, which will delay publication.
- Incoming manuscripts are acknowledged immediately. In order to avoid a large backlog, we strongly encourage authors to restrict the length of their papers. Long papers will be accepted only in exceptional cases.
- Authors will be notified of the Editors' publishing decision once the refereeing process has been completed. Manuscripts will not be returned.
