About the journal

Agrochimica is an international Journal cited in Journal Citation Reports (ISI).
It publishes papers on fundamental and applied aspects of:
Soil chemistry and biochemistry
Plant chemistry and biochemistry
Soil fertility and plant nutrition
Pedology
Environmental pollution
Waste recycling in soil |

Instructions to Authors
Original papers should be submitted, in duplicate, to Editorial Direction of the Journal, Department of Agricultural Chemistry and Biotechnology, via del Borghetto 80, 56124 Pisa (Italy). Papers may be written preferably in English or in French, German, Spanish, Italian.
Manuscript should not exceed 8 typescript double spaced through pages including tables, figures and summaries. The body of papers should be divided into: Title, possibly brief; Initial and Surnames of Authors; Authors affiliation; Introduction; Materials and Methods; Results; Discussion and Conclusions; Summary, not exceeding 100 words, in original language and in english; Bibliography.
Bibliography should be listed in alphabetical order without numeration, and contain: all Authors, surnames first (all capitalized) followed by initials, title of the paper, name of Journal abbreviated in conformity with A.C.S., Arabic number underlined of the volume, page, year in brackets. In the reference of a book it should be cited: Authors, title, edition, city and year. In the text the reference should be checked by the Author's surname and date, in brackets using "et al." when there are more than two Authors.
Diagrams and figures (not exceeding 20 x 30 cm), should be drawn in black ink on transparent paper. The legends to the figures should be submitted on separate sheets.
Black and white, and colour clichés, photographies will be charged to Authors. Tables accompanied by legends should be numered consecutively with Arabic numbers. Galley proofs are to be returned within 10 days. Second proofs are not usually sent to the Authors.
Reprints have to be ordered when galley proofs are returned. Not accepted manuscripts are not returned. Offprints will not be supplied free. Ten issues will be sent free of charge to Authors who submit research contributions supported by Italian CNR. CNR support needs to be clearly stated on the paper
