About the journal
IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications was the number two most-cited journal in telecommunications, and the number thirteen in electrical and electronics engineering in 2004, according to the annual Journal Citation Report (2004 edition), published by the Institute for Scientific Information. This publication focuses on all telecommunications, including telephone, telegraphy, facsimile, and point-to-point television, by electromagnetic propagation, including radio; wire; aerial, underground, coaxial, and submarine cables; waveguides, communication satellites, and lasers; in marine, aeronautical, space, and fixed station services; repeaters, radio relaying, signal storage, and regeneration; telecommunication error detection and correction; multiplexing and carrier techniques; communication switching systems; data communications; and communication theory.

Welcome to the J-SAC homepage! The topics covered below will acquaint you with the scope of J-SAC, the people involved in the management of J-SAC, and a list of upcoming issues. Also contained herein is the complete Guide to J-SAC Operations, which is required reading for all Guest Editors and for those anticipating submission of a proposal for a J-SAC issue.
